As a child, Mary always had a pet of some kind, whether a dog, hamster, fish, or an ant farm. Through the years, in different management positions, she has acquired valuable knowledge in client care. She began working in veterinary medicine in 2009 as a receptionist for Brazos Bend Animal Hospital, and enjoys working with people to help provide the best care possible for their pets. Mary lives in Richmond and has several pets, including dogs, cats, turtles, and a Fish Named Gertrude.
Erin is a native of Sugar Land and earned her BS in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. She has several years’ experience in Research, Avian, and Exotic Medicine, and spent 3 years running a low-cost vaccination clinic for the local community. She decided to return to the quality medicine of specialty in 2013, when she joined the SLVS team in ICU, providing specialized care of pets hospitalized by all Sections of the hospital. She shares her life with 2 Amazon Parrots, 2 cats who were rescues, a German Shepherd (rescued and revived to a happy life) and her beloved husky-shepherd mix, Bentley (who was hit by . . . a Bentley). Her passion is animal rescue, specifically baby and young kittens.
Soraiya is from Dallas, Tx and started her career in veterinary medicine as a technician in 2013. She started here at SLVS as a Client Care Specialist as part of our front office staff in 2015. Soraiya has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice, but found that her true passion was working with animals. She has a Pomeranian Mix “Dojo” and a Calico cat “Chewy”. Her hobbies in her spare time are anything involving comics, music, and football.
