Ashley graduated with her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2010 from Vet Tech Institute and her BAS from Tarleton State University in 2016. She has worked in both exotics and small animal practice, and she joined the SLVS team in December of 2010. Ashley has a special interest in Emergency and Critical Care and has been working as an emergency technician for the past 8 years. Her furry family includes a dog, horse, and three cats.
Shiela started her career in the emergency setting in 2005, starting as kennel assistant while training to be a technician. She joined our team in 2013 and brought her vast knowledge in critical care and deep compassion for our patients.
Shiela loves to spend quality time with her family – both 2- and 4-legged ones! She is married, with 2 daughters, a dog, and 2 cats.
Deana is from Alvin, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She has been at SLVS since May 2013. She has worked in general practice, emergency and ICU as well as at a shelter. Deana has a Shepherd mix named Chaser, a Labrador named, J.J., and a cat named, Cosmo. She likes hanging out with my friends and family and being active outdoors.
Tyler grew up in Katy, Texas, graduated from Taylor High School, and is currently a student at Texas A&M University studying Animal Science. After graduation, he plans to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M. He joined SLVS as a shadow student in the Summer of 2014 and started working soon after as a Technician Assistant. His family includes 2 cats, 4 dogs and various small critters. In his free time he can be found outdoors with his grandfather, or in the stands of Kyle Field at an A&M football game.
