Dr. Emily Davis joined the staff at SLVS in 2014. She earned her BS in Biology with concentration in Cell Biology/Physiology from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, and her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her internship at the University of Missouri, she completed a residency in medical and surgical Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Her special interests include inflammatory brain diseases and seizure disorders. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, gardening and college football (War Eagle!).
Dr. Kegge joined the Neurology Section of Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists in 2016. She earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in 1996. After working as an engineer for 2 years, she realized that veterinary medicine was her passion. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 (Summa cum Laude). She completed an internship at the University of Georgia and her neurology residency training at The Ohio State University and Tufts University. Dr. Kegge has worked at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, in private specialty practice, and as an independent veterinary neurology consultant in Houston. Outside of Work, Dr. Kegge wrangles three young children and three cats with her lovely husband.
