Gwen joined the SLVS team in 2011. She received her Associates of Arts Degree at Cy-Fair College and then went to the University of Houston and completed a BS in Anthropology. Her background in veterinary medicine includes over 10 years of experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, but her true calling is Oncology. Her special interests include biomedical equipment and repair. Her household includes “Pickles”, a chihuahua, “Moose”, a beagle and “Popcorn”, a cockatiel.
Christina joined the SLVS team in 2011. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, Texas and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2007. Her background in veterinary medicine includes over 10 years of experience in general practice and emergency and critical care. Christina started in our ICU department, but soon developed a passion for Medical Oncology. Her special interests include offshore fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Her household includes “Cheyenne”a fun loving German Shepherd, “Zoë” a shepherd husky mix, and “Kora” an Australian Shepherd mix.
