Christine New On the Job:
Dr. New joined the team at Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists in 2011. She began her career in general practice and made the move to emergency & critical care medicine in 2009.

Education:
2008-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University
2004-BS Biomedical Science, Texas A&M University

Texas Veterinary Medical Association
American Veterinary Medical Association

Clinical Interests:
Dr. New enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but is drawn to soft tissue surgery and pain management.

Outside of work:
Dr. New enjoys family time and exploring Houston's children venues with her husband and son. She also enjoys relaxing with a good mystery book on the couch with two lazy miniature dachshunds, Oscar and Jack.
