Diagnostic Imaging


The Diagnostic Imaging Section is headed by Dr. Charlie Quick. This specialty section supports the other specialty sections and emergency critical care section with x-ray, ultrasound and CT procedures and case consultations. Dr. Quick also accepts direct appointments from pet owners referred by their veterinarian.

Facility and Equipment
The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy wing of Sugar Land Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center houses some large and expensive equipment:

1. State-of-the-art digital X-ray with image quality surpassing x-ray film.



2.GE CTi High Speed Computed Tomography with 3-D planning.



3.Color Flow Doppler Ultrasound with numerous varying frequency transducers



All of these imaging modalities are networked for use in all areas of the hospital.
