Emergency & Critical Care Support Staff

  • Fraulein Hidalgo
    Emergency & Critical Care Manager

Originally from Manila, Philippines, Fraulein began her career in veterinary medicine over 10 years ago. She graduated with honors in 2003 from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine then spent 5 years practicing in a small animal private clinic. With the goal of expanding her knowledge and experience, Fraulein came to the United States and joined SLVS as a member of the nursing team of both Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and Surgery Sections in March 2009. She currently manages ECC and truly enjoys providing excellent care for our patients. She plans on obtaining her license as a veterinarian in Texas in the future. She shares her home with two Chihuahuas -- Parsley, who was rescued with a broken leg (that was surgically repaired, thanks to Dr. Bubenik!) and Basil, a rambunctious little boy. In her spare time, Fraulein loves keeping up with the movie scene, cooking, and honing her modern jazz moves.
