Diagnoses and treatment are supported by digital radiography, CT, MRI, diagnostic color-flow Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, comprehensive in-house laboratory, heated oxygen cages, mechanical ventilation, advanced patient monitoring, infectious disease isolation ward, two intensive care units (ICU), and two surgical suites.
Functioning as an extension of your family veterinarian’s practice, the Emergency & Critical Care Section of Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists is continuously prepared to ensure that quality medical care is available to patients outside of regular office hours. Working in conjunction with multiple veterinary specialists under one roof, our emergency clinicians are able to provide a team approach to maximize the care of patients from minor emergencies to more complicated conditions.
Medical records, including any radiographic or ultrasound images, are forwarded to the family veterinarian for follow-up care on the workday following the emergency treatment.
