Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists (SLVS), located just outside of Houston, Texas is currently seeking a second board-certified or board qualified veterinary radiologist to join our dedicated, dynamic team of specialists.
Our diagnostic imaging equipment includes diagnostic digital x-ray, CT scanner, 3 ultrasound units, C-arm fluoroscopy and 1.5 T MRI, all in-house. Three of our technicians perform MRI scans, two perform CT scans and one (trained and experienced) performs ultrasound examinations when needed.
Our technical staff is experienced and well-trained, with LVTs on staff in support of our advanced imaging team. The team of doctors at SLVS also comprises 4 emergency clinicians and a staff of board certified specialists, including an oncologist, neurologist, 2 surgeons, 2 internists and a radiologist, all of whom are available to collaborate closely to best serve the needs of our patients and clients.
The duties of our radiologist include management of the in-house diagnostic imaging case load serving our other specialties and receiving out-patient cases directly from referring veterinarians, some of which will eventually transfer to one of our other specialty services.

Diplomate status with ACVR with a minimum of one-year experience is preferred, however, consideration will also be given to Radiology board qualified candidates.

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists has a full-time opening for a board-certified small-animal Surgeon. We offer orthopedic, soft tissue, neurosurgery, minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and thorascopic procedures. In addition, we have added the capability to perform Total Hip Replacement. Our surgical suites include dedicated monitoring and anesthesia equipment, heated OR tables, Bair Hugger® warming units, standard and bipolar cautery, a LigaSure™ vessel sealing device, digital radiography and C-arm access for intraoperative radiography, and closed ventilation with a dedicated AC system to maximize patient safety and comfort during surgery. In addition, there is a dedicated anesthesia technician and OR technician/scrub tech present for every surgical procedure.

Licensed in good standing by TBVME, Diplomate status with ACVS, prefer minimum 1 year experience. Ability to work nights and weekends, with a flexible schedule.
