   Veterinary Cardiologist        

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists (SLVS) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist to join our multi-specialty referral practice located in Sugar Land, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston. 

Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility features 9 (soon to be 12) exam rooms, 2 (soon to be 4) surgical suites, in-house MRI, helical CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We offer 24/7 care with a fully staffed intensive care unit and have an excellent team of veterinary nurses and client care specialists that provide professional and compassionate care for our patients and our clients.

   Veterinary Radiologist 

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists (SLVS), located just outside of Houston, Texas is currently seeking a second board-certified or board qualified veterinary radiologist to join our dedicated, dynamic team of specialists.

Our diagnostic imaging equipment includes diagnostic digital x-ray, CT scanner, 3 ultrasound units, C-arm fluoroscopy and 1.5 T MRI, all in-house. Our diagnostic imaging technicians perform MRI and CT scans and our trained and experienced sonographer performs ultrasound, as needed. 

Our technical staff is experienced and well-trained, with LVTs on staff in support of our advanced imaging team. The team of doctors at SLVS also comprises 4 emergency clinicians and a staff of board certified specialists, including an oncologist, 2 neurologists, 2 surgeons and 2 internists, all of whom are available to collaborate closely to best serve the needs of our patients and clients. 

The duties of our radiologist include management of the in-house diagnostic imaging case load serving our other specialties and receiving out-patient cases directly from referring veterinarians.

   Veterinary Surgeon – Part-time

SLVS has a part-time opening for a board-certified veterinary surgeon. This may grow into a full-time position within a year. Our surgical services include orthopedic, soft-tissue, neurosurgery, minimally-invasive, laparoscopic, and thorascopic procedures.

We are an established specialty/emergency practice on the southwest side of Houston with a dedicated team of specialists including 2 surgeons, 2 internists, oncologist, 2 neurologists, and 4 emergency veterinarians, all supported by highly-skilled technicians.
