   Veterinary Cardiologist        

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists (SLVS) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist to join our multi-specialty referral practice located in Sugar Land, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston. 

Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility features 9 (soon to be 12) exam rooms, 2 (soon to be 4) surgical suites, in-house MRI, helical CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We offer 24/7 care with a fully staffed intensive care unit and have an excellent team of veterinary nurses and client care specialists that provide professional and compassionate care for our patients and our clients.

Client Care Specialist (Front Desk or Oncology)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience & above industry standards

We are in search of a full-time client service professional that is able to combine passion for pets with compassionate client service for their owners for our front desk team and for our Oncology team. 

Front desk candidate must have at least 1 year experience in a veterinary setting, as well as client service experience. The front desk position requires some flexibility in the schedule, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays. 

For the Oncology position, veterinary experience is not necessary but client service experience is required. This position has a set schedule but some flexibility is required.

Veterinary Technician – Emergency & Critical Care, ICU

Compensation: Commensurate with experience & above industry standards

We are in search of experienced Veterinary Technicians for our ECC team as well as our ICU team; candidates must possess the skills necessary to provide quality patient care and compassionate client service for their owners. We prefer applicants who have attained LVT status and/or 2+ years experience in a veterinary setting, as well as client service experience. This position is in our ECC team or ICU team and requires flexibility of schedule. Both of our ECC and ICU teams operate 24/7/365. This is an excellent opportunity for a person meeting the above requirements to grow and develop in emergency medicine or specialty medicine in our ICU team. Our technicians are taught advanced skills and expected to exhibit autonomy and a willingness to learn, leading to a fulfilling career.

Veterinary Triage Technician- Emergency and Critical Care

We are looking for a triage technician to assist the ECC team in assessing pets as they come in to help determine emergency status. This position does require some veterinary knowledge in order to identify a pet in crises but is an excellent opportunity to determine if a career in Emergency medicine is right for you.
