Dr. Bubenik graduated from the University of Florida with a Major in Microbiology and a Minor in Chemistry. She then graduated from University of Florida with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a rotating medicine and surgical internship at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bubenik then completed her Surgical Residency Training and obtained her Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2001. Before coming to SLVS, she was part of the clinical staff at Louisiana State University.
