Alicia graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She began working in veterinary medicine in Las Vegas, NV in 2002 as a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. She has worked in general practice, emergency and critical care and the Texas A&M small animal hospital intensive care unit. Alicia joined the surgery team at SLVS in 2010. She became the ICU Coordinator in 2011 and Director of Nursing in 2012. She enjoys backpacking and just having fun with her family which includes her red-tailed boa, “Lilith” and two crazy cats, “Mitz” and “Mew”.
Originally from Monroe, Lousiana, in a family of 5 siblings, Cicely came to the Sugar Land area when she was 10. She now lives in Rosenberg with her husband, 2 children and 4 dogs, Trace, Kona, Boss & Prince. She loves spending her spare time coaching baseball and softball and fishing with her family at the Bay.

Outside of work
Emily lives in Sugar Land with her husband, son and daughter as well as a bulldog, boxer and feisty cat. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time her family, running, and watching sports, especially LSU.
Gwen joined the SLVS team in 2011. She received her Associates of Arts Degree at Cy-Fair College and then went to the University of Houston and completed a BS in Anthropology. Her background in veterinary medicine includes over 10 years of experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, but her true calling is Oncology. Her special interests include biomedical equipment and repair. Her household includes “Pickles”, a chihuahua, “Moose”, a beagle and “Norman”, a cockatiel.
