Maverick graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2016 with an Associates in Applied Science. Before he graduated he did a 2 month externship at SLVS where he rotated through the departments and fell in love with the Diagnostic Imaging section and was then hired onto their team shortly after. While all of the modalities at SLVS are challenging and fun to perform, Maverick has an affinity for MRI.
He grew up in Richmond, Texas where he has lived all his life. He currently only has one pet, a wire haired terrier named Brittle that his fiancé and him both adore with all their hearts.

Megan was born in Houston, TX and shortly after her family moved to Baton Rouge, LA. She has always had pets and a love for all animals. Currently, she is working on her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry at the University of Houston. During the semester, she stays pretty busy with studying and attending Pre-Veterinary Student Association events. While during her semester breaks she really enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. She has the sweetest longhair Chihuahua, Tiny, and takes him almost everywhere with her. Here at Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists, Tiny is pretty well known for his Spicy attitude. Megan began her career at Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists in 2015, coming to us with a few years of vet assistant experience in general practice. She currently works part-time as an assistant in the Diagnostic Imaging section at Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists, and she fell in love with the specialty side of vet medicine. Her long-term goal is to become a Veterinarian, complete an internship and residency, and eventually become a Veterinary Specialist.
Tina joined the Veterinary Field in 1995 after serving overseas in the U.S. Army. She has loved helping take care of pets since then. Although she loves all animals, cats are her soul animal. She hopes to continue helping them for many more years to come.
