Dr. Emily Davis joined the staff at SLVS in 2014. She earned her BS in Biology with concentration in Cell Biology/Physiology from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, and her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her internship at the University of Missouri, she completed a residency in medical and surgical Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Her special interests include inflammatory brain diseases and seizure disorders. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, gardening and college football (War Eagle!).
Dr. Kegge joined the Neurology Section of Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists in 2016. She earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in 1996. After working as an engineer for 2 years, she realized that veterinary medicine was her passion. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 (Summa cum Laude). She completed an internship at the University of Georgia and her neurology residency training at The Ohio State University and Tufts University. Dr. Kegge has worked at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, in private specialty practice, and as an independent veterinary neurology consultant in Houston. Outside of work, Dr. Kegge wrangles three young children, three cats, and one epileptic dog with her lovely husband.

Deana is from Alvin, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She has been at SLVS since May 2013. She has worked in general practice, emergency and ICU as well as at a shelter. Deana has a Shepherd mix named Chaser, a Labrador named, J.J., and a cat named, Cosmo. She likes hanging out with my friends and family and being active outdoors.
Originally from New Jersey, Jamie moved to Houston in 2002. She has been working in veterinary medicine for almost 20 years and has been able to experience general practice as well as specialty. She joined the SLVS family in 2016 as a Client Care Specialist and is now a Client Service Technician in our Neurology Section. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, the gun range, and spending time with her two children. Her household includes a cat (Tasha), an Argentine black and white tegu (Nella), three red-foot tortoises (Franklin, Breadareka, and Meow), a California kingsnake (99), a tarantula (Mr. Skinny Legs), and a beta fish (Floppy). Jamie is active in the reptile community, helping with education, conservation, and relocation of venomous and native species of reptiles in the Houston and surrounding areas.
