Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Oncology, Radiation Oncology Section Head
Dr. Wilcox received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2014 and completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at UC-Davis in 2017. Before moving to Houston to join the PetCure Oncology at SLVS team, she had been working as the radiation oncologist for Hope Veterinary Specialists outside of Philadelphia. Dr. Wilcox has two fur babies, Winnie and Walter. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, and cheering on her favorite NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Marissa spent more than 20 years as a radiation therapist in human medicine before finding her dream job working with animals. Prior to joining PetCure Oncology, she spent the previous five years as the Lead Radiation Therapist at St. Joseph Cancer Center. Marissa has 5 kiddos; 4 fur babies and 1 human child. She loves animals and also loves to garden and go to the beach.
Samantha was born and raised in Katy, TX. She received her Vet Certification in 2011 and has been apart of the Veterinary field for over 10 years now. She has a passion and background in anesthesia with a strong surgical background as well, but she is excited to begin something new with radiation oncology. Samantha married her high school sweetheart in 2018. They have a strapping young boy that is 18-months-old named Waylon. They also have two beautiful Pitbull mixes, Twiggy and Zieg, along with a Jack Russel named Harley.
Samantha loves to fish, hunt, her arts & crafts, and helping 4 legged children everyday!
