Having An Emergency?

Our veterinary emergency center is here for your emergency needs.

  • Stay calm, call ahead if possible.

  • If your pet got into a toxic substance, call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Phone Number: (888) 426-4435

  • Fill out a check in form before you arrive, if possible.

  • Your pet will be triaged by a veterinary technician when you arrive. 

Triage

SLVS Veterinary Technicians prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition.  Patients will be seen by an Emergency Veterinarian in order of priority.  There may be delays for patients who fall into Priority 2 or 3.

Requires immediate life-saving measures, within minutes.

Requires interventions within hours of presentation.
