If your family veterinarian suspects your pet may suffer from a neurologic disorder, our veterinary neurology center will work closely with them to ensure your pet receives the highest quality, compassionate care.

Our Neurology team’s vision statement is “Passion For Compassion”. Our Neurologists and technicians truly take that statement to heart and strive to show compassion not only to our patients, but to pet parents, the referring veterinary community, each other, and ourselves.

Brain disorders diagnosed and treated by the Neurology team include but are not limited to:

Seizure disorders
Brain cancer/tumors
Ischemic infarcts (“strokes”)
Encephalitis (GME or infectious)
Hydrocephalus
Traumatic brain injuries
Chiari-malformation/Syringomyelia

Spinal cord disorders diagnosed and treated by the Neurology team include but are not limited to:

Intervertebral disc herniation (IVDD)
Cervical Spondylomyelopathy/Wobbler’s Syndrome
Spinal tumors
Fibrocartilaginous embolism (FCE)
Meningitis
Traumatic spinal injuries

Other disorders diagnosed and managed by the Neurology team include but are not limited to:

Myasthenia gravis
Neuropathies
Inflammatory or infectious myopathies
